Active Chapter
A local group with identified leadership, repeatable service activity, and a visible commitment to UCA principles.

UCA communities are built by people who want to strengthen local trust, service, business support, and opportunity where they live.

A UCA community can begin in a neighborhood, small town, city, school network, business district, volunteer group, or civic circle. The point is not to make every place identical. The point is to give local people a trusted structure for doing the good work that already needs to happen.
Chapters should be practical, welcoming, and visible. They help people meet one another, choose useful projects, support local enterprise, and create repeatable habits of service.

A local group with identified leadership, repeatable service activity, and a visible commitment to UCA principles.
A place where several people have raised their hand and are working toward a first local project or organizing meeting.
A city, town, neighborhood, school, or business district where early interest has been submitted and can grow into a starter group.
Each community should be led by people who live, work, serve, or own businesses locally. UCA provides the shared framework, but local people shape the work.
A chapter should not be built around one announcement. It should create a rhythm of useful action people can see, join, and repeat.
Communities grow when the work is clear, welcoming, and transparent. People should understand what is happening, who is involved, and how to participate.
The goal is to keep more attention, energy, relationships, and opportunity circulating close to home.

UCA supports local communities that want a shared identity, practical principles, and a national network rooted in service, trust, and local ownership.

You do not need permission to begin. Start with your street, your school, your workplace, your small business district, or your neighborhood group.
